While it is true that the status quo and sticking with the ways you have always done things feels safer, is in your comfort zone, and just plain easier - doesn't mean that it's always the best way.

We know that the expression "thinking outside of the box" has been around for many years, but let's break it down. There is a box that has four sides, a lid, and is square. Typically our ideas, thoughts, and processes fit nicely "inside the box" because that is our tradition. But to challenge the status quo or to generate new ideas really does require us to think "outside" of the box, outside of the confines, outside of the traditional four walls, and to take the lid off and allow some fresh air. Let's look at how we can really apply this to growing and optimizing our business, and the benefits we would gain.
